Boys across America are growing up without strong male role models. With 43% raised by single moms, masculinity increasingly labeled as toxic, and only 36% of parents believing churches are serving their sons well, Trail Life USA faced a critical mission: reach more churches and pastors who would champion a Christ-centered program for boys. The challenge was cutting through the noise to show church leaders why Trail Life was the right fit, and making it simple to take the first step.
Solution
Missio built a targeted digital strategy designed to get Trail Life’s message in front of pastors and church leaders actively looking for boys’ discipleship programs. The campaign focused on the organization’s unique positioning as the largest exclusively boys Christian leadership organization in America, one that’s interdenominational, fully resourced, and ready to launch in any church.

Trail Life USA now has over 1,400 pastors who have chosen Trail Life for their church, with troops operating across all 50 states representing Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox faith traditions. The program serves boys ages 5–17, giving churches a fully supported, step-by-step system to mentor the next generation of godly men, and the digital campaigns helped fuel that growth at scale.
